This recipe card in my little black book of our family heritage recipes has splotched stains of ingredients peppering it. That’s how loved and oft used it has been over the years. I thought about changing the name to something catchy and posh….but just can’t bring myself to do it. Some things just have to hold true to the timeless handwriting of treasured family members. “Best No-Bake Cookies” is scrawled across the top of my little card. It will stay that way. And it’s true. And so I bring it to you. Hearty oats, tender coconut flakes, peanut butter, sugar, cocoa….shoot….it’s really hard to beat this concoction of flavor.
